This post is in honor of my wonderful husband, who is coming home today after being gone for 3 whole weeks! Yes, he left his pregnant wife home all alone...but for a good cause. He was doing some computer training in preparation for our time overseas. Had a wonderful time getting to know other people who are interested in computers and programming and lots of other things I just don't get all that excited about.
It sounds like it was well worth the separation and a few hard days.
You know that saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"? Well, I think this time apart showed us how much we've come to depend on each other and enjoy each other's company during this first year and a half of marriage. The little annoyances don't seem to matter that much any more; I'm just ready for him to be home!
Baby continues to develop normally and healthily, as far as we can tell. The kicks/movements are getting stronger and a little uncomfortable at times. Except for growing back pain, I am totally enjoying this pregnancy. It's been pretty easy so far, which is a source of great hope for my 3 sisters.
